Guru Ramachandra Swamy (1295–1371) was a Hindu scholar and saint. He was also known as Sri Ramachandra yogi. He was a wandering saint who travelled throughout India in order to establish the “SRI RAMABHAKTI MOVEMENT” on a large scale. Ramachandra was also an accomplished player of the flute and he composed several songs in praise of Lord Rama under the name of Ramgaan. Till 19th Century AD, his small Samadhi shrine at Ayodhya attracted several thousands of visitors every year in order to receive blessings from him, but at present, his Samadhi shrine was in a dilapidated condition, and also it is covered with full of grass and trees, and at present, it is very difficult to even locate the place of his Samadhi Shrine itself!
Guru Ramachandra Swamy was born as Ramcharan in a village in Gujarat into a family of musicians and scholars. His grandfather Narayana was his tutor, and he was an accomplished scholar and musician. His father Achutha had migrated to Ayodhya with his wife Radamma. Ramachandra had two siblings: Ragav and Keshav. Ramachandra continued his further studies at an Ashram in Ayodhya.
Sri Ramachandra went on a series of pilgrimages. Wherever he went, he spread the message of Lord Rama, defeating scholars of opposing doctrines, writing commentaries and notes, teaching the shastras to enthusiastic students, and encouraging local scholars. He continued to bless and cure his devotees of ailments and afflictions wherever he went. Guru Ramachandra still exists in the Physical body and doing Puja to Lord Rama even today in the early morning hours at his Samadhi Shrine at Ayodhya. He can be praised as Amirtha Sagara, the ocean of the divine nectar and as Parama Punya Nidhi, the treasurer of good deeds.
Guru Ramachandra Swamy is not limited to a particular community alone. He is a Universal Saint. He is giving his blessings (Anugraha) to all types of his devotees, without seeing their caste, creed or religion. His Ram Naam recital would cure all types of diseases and would even relieve the people suffering from unknown diseases, black magic problems, problems from evil spirits etc.
I salute Lord Rama, who is a kind hearted person, who gives great happiness,
who is the greatest among all the kings,
who contains very good features.
I salute Lord Rama, who is the master of the entire universe,
Who shows his love and affection on everyone,
Who gives liberation,
Who helps us to cross the ocean of life,
Who gives great spiritual pleasure.
I offer my humble salutations to Lord Rama,
whose mantra is very powerful, and he is the one who contains good knowledge in all the subjects.
I humbly salute Lord Rama,
Who sits on the honourable throne,
who always gives correct judgement,
and who is well served by Ma Sita and by his brothers.

I humbly salute Lord Rama whose radiance is equivalent to millions of moons and suns,
Whose feet is worshipped by all the gods.

I humbly salute Lord Rama, who controls all the Panchaboothas like air, ether, water,
Earth and fire.

I offer my humble salutations to Lord Rama who acts like our father and mother, and he is the one who removes the tears from our eyes during the times of our sufferings.
I offer my humble salutations to Lord Rama, and I request him to take me to his abode, and let me reside under his pretty legs even as a small dust particle.
I humbly salute Lord Rama who gives great peace of mind and he is the one who removes the badness in our mind and gives great spiritual bliss.
I offer my humble salutations to Lord Rama who is the Lord of the Lords and the King of the Kings and his significance cannot be fully described by Lord Hanuman himself.
I offer my humble salutations to Lord Rama, who has great valour. He is the one who broke Lord Shiva’s great bow and married Ma Sita.
I offer my humble salutations to Lord Rama, who had easily killed Ravana with his powerful weapons, and he is the one, who never gets fear for anything.
I offer my humble salutations to Lord Rama whose name would kill all of our problems, and whose name is being recited even by the Divine Devas in the heaven.
